New Bridge on S77D

There is a new bridge just built late this summer.  It's a 60 ft. bridge build to replace an old, worn out one over the Cummings Creek on our side trail S77D.  It took a 3 man volunteer crew about 7 days to build at a cost of over $1500.  The decking alone was $1000.  We use hemlock for decking as it holds up better and lasts longer - BUT, is very expensive.  This is an example of club dues at work.

See the
picture here.

The Towpath Trail is fine.

Rumors are flying in chat rooms that the Towpath Trail to White Lake is closed.  Not true!  The TOWPATH INN in Turin is closed.  The Towpath Trail to White Lake is maintained by The Lost Trail Snowmobile Club and it will be open once the snow flies.

Contact us with any questions!

The Lost Trail Club was assuming additional miles of trail by adding two new offshoots from their Boonville location, one in the direction of Constableville, and one in the direction of Port Leyden/Lyons Falls. Both trails would connect to other clubs making the state corridor system more accessible to these communities. Read More...
